Our story / Notre histoire

Gilles starts up the greenhouses in February and plants beautiful hanging flower baskets and spectacular geraniums.  By May, you can spot Gilles in the fields during the week and at the Carp Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and the Ottawa Farmers’ Market on Sundays.

 From the beginning of May until the end of October, Denis is in the field from early morning until late evening.  Planting, weeding, harvesting, watering, whether its in the sun or in the rain, Denis never misses a day in the field. 

 Commonly known as ‘Miss Viki’, spotted at most markets in Ottawa, Viki started selling flowers and vegetables at a young age. Viki now manages the operations from her home in Orléans and has open the greenhouses for flower purchases in the spring and a farm stand running all summer long. 

Commonly know as 'Mom', Yolande can be spotted at the farm stand, the Westboro & Orléans Farmers' Markets.

Jane is Viki's right hand! Her flower knowledge is extensive, her marketing skills are impeccable and she loves to talk! Jane works at the farm stand and the Farmers' Markets.

Véro enjoys going to Farmers' Markets and loves to take pictures at the farm. She is also the founder of Prickly Dill. Her products are sold at the farm stand throughout the summer.

Julie has been working at the Farmers' Markets since a young age. She creates displays that are hard to beat!  Julie also harvests vegetables and creates stunning flower bouquets and table masterpieces. 

You can usually spot Jack in one of the greenhouses transplanting, sweeping or laying out the garlic to cure.  He is always near and lends a helping hand around the farm.

Yves is our favorite contractor! He is the expert behind our impeccable ground maintenance at the farm, and beautiful wooden displays.

Clodine is a dedicated farm hand.  Farming is in her blood.  She seeds, transplants, weeds and drives the tractors.  Clodine also raises animals and sells her meats and eggs, visit her facebook page Ô Saveurs de la Ferme.

Frédérike is Gilles and Denis' niece. Despite her move to the NWT a few years ago, she continues to support the family business, as the tech expert, from her home in the North.

Sophie is Gilles and Denis' niece. Family is very important to her and she is proud of her Bergeron roots. She designs beautiful promotional materials from her home in Québec.
